    Summoner "

Summoners can summon flying demonic beasts, called Anima, which can smash through blocks to ram the player. If that wasn't enough, they have a secondary attack, which conjures up a row of fangs emerging from the ground - all part of Jens' plan to keep the player moving. "I wanted to force the players to move around and not stand still with a shield and wait," said Jens.

Each filtering bag summoners they are a hostile creature. Which belongs to one of the four types of maldeanos, which are a branch of the villagers, the others are the illusionist, the Vindicator and a little further away the Looters and Devastators.

    Summary

    Appearance

    Natural generation

Summoners appear individually during the spawn of some rooms in the Forest Mansion. They will not respawn after their initial appearance, they have a limited number in the world. Evokers that are naturally spawned in the mansion will not disappear naturally, unless the world difficulty is changed to peaceful.

    Patrols

These also have a small chance of appearing in a patrol of Maldeanos, accompanying raiders.

    Assault

In turn, they can be generated in a wave of an assault towards a village, from the fifth wave onwards (only on normal or hard difficulty).

-In waves 5 and 6 a summoner will appear

-From wave 7 onwards, 3 summoners will appear, of which one will be on a devastator

    Reward

Summoners give the following rewards when defeated:

    • A Totem of Immortality
    • Between zero and an Emerald if killed by a player.
    • The loot enchantment increases the emeralds they will give as a reward, increases them one per level, they can drop up to 4 emeralds.
    • The loot enchantment does not affect the number of Immortality Totems.

    Behavior

Summoners will attack players, villagers, and iron golems within 12 blocks. If the player is within 8 blocks of radius and the evoker is not in the middle of an attack, he will start running away from the player to avoid being attacked. Summoners in the Bedrook Edition are not hostile to baby villagers

Summoners have three different spells: Fang Attack, Summoning Souls, and Sheep Color Converting. When attacking, the Summoner will use the Fang Attack more times, then follow up with a Soul Summon. When summoners are ready to attack they will raise their arms and wave them, producing different colored particles for their different attacks.

    Attack with fangs

The signal for this summoner's attack is lilac particles and a deep horn sound. A large number of fangs will emerge from the ground, bite down and disappear. Creatures other than illagers will receive 6 (SummonerSummonerSummoner) points of damage, regardless of their armor and enchantments.

The fangs will appear at the height of the feet of the closest combatant, and not above a block from the tallest combatant. The fangs will attempt to appear in the highest opaque block between the two extremes, but will fail to appear if it is obstructed by a solid block. In practice, this means that fangs will not be invoked in deep pits or on top of high walls, but can, for example, climb a ladder if the target is at the top and the evocative at the bottom, or vice versa. This attack has two forms: offensive and defensive. The offensive form is used if the target is more than 3 blocks away and the defensive if it is closer.

    Offensive form

This is another of his powers; takes offense and attacks. Here is a short summary of it.

    • Summoners will summon 16 fangs in a horizontal line toward the target, spaced one block apart. The fangs are summoned at the same time, but they appear in a wave form from the evoker to the target with a short delay in appearing and disappearing.
    Defensive form

    His defense is as follows:

    • The summoner will summon a total of 13 fangs in two circles centered on him. The outer circle is made up of 8 fangs and has a radius of three blocks, while the inner circle is made up of 5 fangs and has a radius of two blocks. The inner circle bites slightly before the outer circle.

Summon Fangs resets the summoner's spell cooldown to 100 ticks (5 seconds) and resets the summoner's spell cooldown to Summon Fangs to 340 ticks (17 seconds).

    Summon Souls

This is another one of his attacks with demon angels.

    Summoner Summoner

    An summoner invoking souls

The signal of this evocator's attack is produced by white particles and a high-pitched horn sound. 3 souls will appear near him. The summoner will be able to summon more souls even if the previous ones he summoned are still alive. This spell resets the summoning spirits' spell's cooldown to 2 seconds, and resets the cooldown of the summon's spirits attack to 5 seconds.

    Sheep color conversion spell

As long as the evoker is not in combat and the mobGriefing game rule is true, (gamerule mobGriefing true) will change the wool of any sheep from blue to red in a range of 16 blocks. The signal of this spell are produced by some orange particles and making the sound "turururu". This spell resets the summoner's spell cooldown to 3 seconds, and resets the color conversion cooldown to 7 seconds.

Individual fangs on a summoner's fanged attacks have a short delay. Before the delay ends, the fangs cannot be seen, they are not really invisible entities, they are always visible with hitboxes on. After the delay, the fangs expand when summoned, close, and disappear again, dealing 6 (SummonerSummonerSummoner) magic damage to all creatures in the place. Naturally Summoned Fangs do not injure Exiles, but player generated fangs do.

Fangs of Evocation are not affected by Peaceful Difficulty.

    Curiosities

    • In the Minecraft's "Meet the Conjurer" show he shows an conjurer wearing a hat, similar to the illusionist's model. [1]
      • This model of the hat is also seen on the Nitwit witch, on the bookcase, on the priest and on the vindicator in the texture file but it is not used.
    • The sheep's wool color conversion spell is a reference to priests in the "Age of Empires" video game, in which you can transform an enemy unit into a friend by making the "Turururu" sound.
